This week, I made a cosy evening flight with my friend Yves Ewen. In summer, we have often calm weather in the evening hours. For Yves, it was his first flight in a small plane, which made this weather a perfect setting. As we intended to stay within the borders of Luxembourg, there was no need to file a flight plan. I explained Yves that the plan was to make a on hour tour of Luxembourg.
We decided to fly over the Septfontaines commune, Yves was quite surprised to view his commune from a different angle. This western part of Luxembourg (the Valley of the 7 castles) is one of the best kept secrets of Luxembourg.
We continued north to the stunning Lac de Haute Sure, which is a popular swimming and beach lake in Luxembourg.

From the Lac de haute Sure, we continued our flight to the east and saw the Vianden Castle popping up. .Amazing views

From there, we flew down adjecent to the German border to Remich. All by all, a cosy evening flight
