A quick note on two additions to the expedition portal — one for pilots who don’t have an aircraft, and one for the people on the ground who make these adventures possible.
Since the portal went live, a number of questions have come in from pilots and supporters alike. Rather than answer them one by one, I’ve built two dedicated features into the platform that should address the most common situations.
Pilots without an aircraft
Several pilots have asked whether they can still join if they don’t currently own an aircraft — or can’t secure a club aircraft for the full duration. The answer is yes.
The portal now includes a dedicated section where individual pilots can register and indicate their interest. I’ll do my best to match pilots looking for a seat with crews who have room for an additional pilot or co-pilot.
If you’re in that situation, register your interest through the link below. The more detail you can provide about your licence, ratings, and availability, the easier it is to find a good match.
Spouses, partners & supporters
We’ve also made it possible for family members, partners, friends and supporters to join the adventure without flying. They can travel independently — typically by airline — and join us in Georgia, where they will be welcomed at the Ambassadori Kachreti Golf Resort on 2 September 2026, one day before the expedition fleet arrives.
They’re invited to take part in the welcome reception and spend several enjoyable days with the pilots during our time in Kakheti.
This option can be selected directly during the standard registration process. No separate login is required.
After all, aviation adventures are often even better when shared with those who support us from the ground.
